A Second Chance for Abandoned Pets in our Community

PAWS Atlanta “Believes that people and pets bring out the best in each other” . As a result, this bighearted organization serves as a beacon of hope by taking an active role, caring for the abandoned, abused and neglected pets in our community.

This benevolent organization takes in as many animals as the shelter permits and through their compassionate no-kill philosophy they were able to successfully place more than 46,000 homeless animals into permanent, caring, and loving homes since 1966. Everyday PAWS Atlanta receives hundreds of calls from people wanting to surrender their pets. There is a small $50 surrender fee for all admissions which helps to give incoming animals the often needed critical medical attention and offset part of the costly medical treatments like vaccinations, antibiotics, and others important procedures imperative to their well being.

Our agency hopes to support the ongoing efforts of this benevolent cause by supporting the Second Chance Fund. This fund helps Paws embrace pets from owners who unfortunately cannot afford to pay the surrender fee.
